Flat Surface Plates for Compression Tests
Features:
- Expand the lower table to test large specimens and finished objects
- Bolt directly into the universal tester table
- Available for AG-X plus series standard models, AGS-X series standard models, and AG-X plus series extended width models
Flat surface plates are common compression testing accessories that expand the lower table of the universal tester in order to test large specimens and finished objects. These plates bolt directly into the table of the universal tester and should be ordered to fit a specific capacity and model of universal tester.
Flat surface plates are categorized depending on the type of universal tester to which they are attachable: AG-X plus series standard models, AGS-X series standard models, and AG-X plus series extended width models, with a width of 975 mm (38.4 in). They also have a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
Flat surface plates for compression tests cannot be installed on universal testers with safety covers attached.

Hydrogen Energy Analysis Solutions for Quality Control of Hydrogen
Impurities in hydrogen production affect subsequent industrial processes. Strict purity standards have been defined for hydrogen used in fuel cells (ISO 14687-2019). This is because if hydrogen contains carbon monoxide, sulfur components, etc., the catalyst of the fuel cell will be damaged. The hydrogen fuel standard for FCVs (ISO 14687 TypeII GradeD) defines many items to be controlled, and Shimadzu analytical instruments can play a role in analyzing these items.
