The cleaning process is an extremely crucial step that removes fine particles, metallic impurities, organic materials, and other residues adhering to the wafer surface and ensures a clean surface condition. As devices become smaller, even slight contamination can significantly affect performance and yield, making the cleaning process increasingly important.
