In particular, advancements in the automation of sample pretreatment for LC and LC-MS analysis have been occurring at a rapid pace. However, the need to manually load pretreated plates into an instrument has remained a bottleneck.

The PL-40 solves for LC/LC-MS automation, it seamlessly loads plates of pretreated samples into an LC/LC-MS system, enabling a fully automated workflow, from pretreatment to analysis.

The PL-40 can be attached to new or existing Nexera™ series autosamplers. Loading samples and reagents into the automation-compatible enables automatic analysis of samples when pretreatment is finished.

Automate all steps from sample pretreatment to analysis by linking a robot to the pretreatment unit

PL-40 is designed to be easy for robots to load/unload plates. Consequently, plate loader operations can be easily linked to an LC/LC-MS system or other pretreatment units and robots.

High-speed plate handling achieves high throughput

Plate handling actions are executed without affecting the autosampler's system configuration settings, and only require about 10 seconds to load and unload plates. This is especially useful for high-throughput laboratories.
