Smart FOV (Field of View)

What is “Smart FOV”?

The feature allows you to adjust the Field of View (FOV) and pan the image without moving the patient on the tabletop. It improves examination efficiency and contributes to safer examinations.

For Safer Examinations

During procedures such as arthrography, pain management, myelography, or ERCP, physicians perform techniques that involve puncturing or inserting devices into the patient’s body. Adjusting the field of view can be challenging, as moving the tabletop may dislodge devices, patient movement increases the risk of accidents, and these factors add to the physician’s stress.
Smart FOV offers a solution for safer examinations. It allows you to adjust the FOV without moving the patient during procedures involving puncture or device insertion. Combined with the longitudinal movement of the imaging unit, it enables safe FOV adjustments in all directions. This feature helps physicians focus on delicate operations without added psychological stress.

For Dose-Free Positioning

With Smart FOV, you can adjust the FOV size and position without increasing exposure dose. This feature helps reduce radiation exposure for both patients and physicians.

For Fine Positioning Made Easy

Fine adjustments to wheelchair positioning can significantly increase daily workload. However, with Smart FOV, even if the region of interest is not centered on the monitor, the FOV position can be easily adjusted, eliminating the need for physical movement.
