Investment Policy
Shimadzu Future Innovation Fund (Shimadzu FIF) collaborates with startup companies that have innovative technologies or business ideas based on Shimadzu’s corporate philosophy of “Contributing to Society through Science and Technology” and its management principle of “Realizing Our Wishes for the Well-being of Mankind and the Earth.”
Shimadzu FIF is especially focused on R&D-based startups in the fields of healthcare (life sciences and MedTech), green transformation (GX), materials, and industry.
Shimadzu uses its technical capabilities to contribute to startups involved in generating innovation, and works with them to achieve a better society.
