Fully automated sample preparation module for LCMS based on Shimadzu's extensive experience manufacturing clinical systems that perform blood coagulation analysis.
Simply place blood collection tubes in position and the module automatically performs sample pretreatment steps up to LC/MS/MS analysis.
About CLAM-2030
Due to superior specificity, leading to better analytical accuracy and precision, liquid chromatograph mass spectrometers (LC-MS/MS) have started to be used for confirmatory measurements of drugs, steroids, and vitamin D. Manual sample preparation procedures can lead to variations and mistakes, often due to the procedure being used or an operator’s inexperience. Connecting a fully automated CLAM-2030 to an LC-MS/MS system minimizes these issues, enabling fully automated and highly accurate analysis throughout the entire process – from pretreatment to LC/MS/MS measurement – using touch-panel software operation.
