MicrobialTrack MALDI-TOF MS Microbial Identification Platform

A new global platform for microbial identification powered by the world’s largest database.

The MicrobialTrack, featuring the most extensive database that covers approximately 85,000 prokaryotic species, including not only well-known, previously described microorganisms but also hard-to-culture and uncultured microorganisms, redefines the boundaries of MALDI-TOF MS-based microbial identification.
MicrobialTrack employs a "proteomics approach" to identify microbial species based on the similarity between the theoretical masses of proteins estimated from genomes and the observed masses of proteins derived from samples. It is a cloud-based service that enables the identification of microorganisms in a web browser. The service does not require a dedicated PC or software installation. Users simply register and then access the designated URL to proceed with the analysis. The MicrobialTrack database is updated regularly to include newly added taxa as genome sequences and to reflect the most recent taxonomic system, which is continually evolving. Users will have access to the latest MicrobialTrack database during the license period.

The Autograph AGS-V Series precision universal testing machine has improved basic performance, such as guaranteed test force accuracy range, speed of application of force to test samples, and return speed to the test starting position, compared with previous models. It is equipped with a function to automatically calibrate the test force at start-up, a liquid crystal touch panel, which can be used without a PC, and a jog dial, thereby realizing high operability.

World-Class High-Speed Recording at 20 Million Frames per Second

The HyperVision HPV-X3 high-speed video camera offers world-class recording speeds with double the recording speed of its predecessor and promises to make a significant impact on industrial progress and our understanding of physical phenomena.
High-speed cameras are used in materials science and aerospace development to visualize and understand physical phenomena associated with material deformation, material failure, shock waves, plasma, and electrical discharges. There is also an increasing demand for high-speed cameras in the medical and industrial sectors to evaluate and study products that generate micro-bubbles, ink jets, and fuel sprays.
The HyperVision HPV-X3 doubles the recording speed of its predecessor, the HyperVision HPV-X2, to offer world-class performance at 20 million frames per second. ALTRACE Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer

Industry’s Highest Level of Measurement Sensitivity

The ALTRACE is the flagship model of Shimadzu energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers (EDX). Its X-ray optical system and signal processing system have been completely redesigned, and it provides high-sensitivity measurements of trace inorganic elements. Up to 48 samples can be analyzed consecutively, improving the efficiency of operations involving the analysis of many samples. 
ALTRACE uses a high-output X-ray source, a new, high-efficiency detector, high-speed signal processing circuits, and a compact and highly efficient optical system. The detection lower limit has been improved for all elements in comparison to previous Shimadzu models, and the industry’s highest level of measurement sensitivity has been achieved. This instrument provides space savings and high measurement efficiency due to its compact size and a tray storage capacity of up to 48 samples.

Now Fully Loaded, Expanding Lineup for Green Transformation Industry

The new Brevis GC-2050 Systems integrate the gas chromatograph Brevis GC-2050 with various pretreatment devices and detectors. The new releases include the "Automatic Gas Analysis System," "Jetanizer/Polyarc Microreactor System," "Customized GC System," "Multi-Detector GC System," "Thermal Desorption System," "Pyrolysis Analysis System," and "Headspace Sampler System.“
All seven systems feature the new "ECO Idling Function" in the Brevis GC-2050, which automatically learns device usage patterns to reduce gas and power consumption. For the first time in the world, the GC system visualizes the cumulative CO2 reduction during operation, enhancing users' energy-saving awareness. Additionally, the Brevis GC-2050 can be integrated with multiple pretreatment devices and detectors to meet a wider range of customer needs. For example, the "Automatic Gas Analysis System" consists of the new Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD), which is about one-fourth the size of conventional models, and the Auto Gas Injector GI-30, catering to the demand for high-sensitivity and stable gas analysis in the new energy market.

SPM-9700HT Plus Scanning Probe Microscope

Making the Unknown Visible

The SPM-9700HT Plus scanning probe microscope can obtain localized physical property information in one tenth the time of previous Shimadzu models. It will contribute to evaluations and research into nano materials, as a general-purpose model of scanning probe microscope (SPM) providing both operability and efficiency.
With improved signal processing speeds and optimized control methods, this product obtains images of physical properties at higher speeds. Mapping images of the results of observations of physical properties, which took about 6 hours with previous models, can be obtained in 30 minutes or less using the dedicated Nano 3D Mapping Fast software (optionally available). Additionally, the software is equipped with NanoAssist, a function that supports stable imaging by automatically setting the observation conditions. It is also equipped with mechanisms to heighten operability, including a head-slide mechanism to quickly exchange samples, and CantileverMaster (optionally available), which simplifies attachment of the consumable probe.
