Enhancing Global Development Capabilities
Based on our corporate motto "Contributing to Society through Science and Technology" and our management philosophy "Realizing Our Wishes for the Well-being of Mankind and the Earth," we address social issues by conducting basic research and developing products and applications. We also actively promote co-creation with external partners to develop innovative technologies and products and implement new services in society, aiming for rapid commercialization.
In product development operations, we update the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management System) to standardize development operations, improve the degree of development focus and speed, and enhance development capabilities.

Improving Global Manufacturing Capabilities
We have established a production system in five regions: Japan, China, North America, Asia, and Europe. We will promote various measures based on geopolitical risks and trade friction between the United States and China, so that we can respond to increasing demand for each model in each region and supply products stably to customers.
To build a robust supply chain, we are 1) strengthening our business continuity management initiatives, 2) strategically storing inventory, 3) strengthening our procurement capabilities in China and North America, and 4) expanding in-house production of critical parts.
From the previous manufacturing system for each business division, we will transform our system into a "customer-centric" (area-based) system, and realize one-stop services for customers while continuing to provide a stable supply of products.
Supply Chain Management
As a globally operating manufacturer, we procure from many suppliers and consider procurement as the foundation of our business activities. We base transactions on “Symbiosis and EQCD (Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery)” principles, promoting fair transactions, partnerships with suppliers, and CSR procurement.
If issues such as child labor or forced labor are identified through these surveys, we promptly request correction.
By continuing these surveys, we ensure that our business activities and supply chains are not complicit in human rights abuses such as child labor, forced labor, or human trafficking.
