Additionally, the "Eco Mode" feature automatically shuts down the device if it has not been used for a certain period, achieving a 43% reduction in energy consumption compared to our previous models, as well as a 36% reduction in the usage of consumables such as gases and solvents.

The space-saving design of the solvent delivery unit, autosampler, column oven, and other units, results in a smaller system that requires less installation space without compromising data compatibility with existing LC systems or sample holding capacity. The shorter design ensures easy access to mobile phase bottles, regardless of the installation stand.
Furthermore, the Nexera systems consume about 70 % less power during standby (compared to the previous model), which helps improve laboratory operations.

The Brevis GC-2050 gas chromatograph was developed with the goal of being smaller, simpler, and more user-friendly, without compromising analytical performance. To reduce power costs and achieve an environmentally friendly GC, we successfully adopted high-performance insulation materials within the oven and minimized the thermal capacity by downsizing the GC shape, thereby reducing heating losses. As a result, we achieved reductions of 31% in power consumption, 33% in weight, and 43% in volume compared to conventional models.

This analyzer is used at manufacturing plants, wastewater processing plants, and a wide variety of other business operations to ensure river and other water quality standards by measuring the total nitrogen and total phosphorus content in effluent waters.
The system helps improve maintenance efficiency and reduce running costs, due to excellent performance that reduces reagent consumption and minimizes liquid waste, the sample pretreatment unit with a built-in automatic rinsing function, and touch panel operability.
The liquid waste volume is reduced by 30 %, compared to Shimadzu's previous model, by changing the measurement and rinsing sequence. That reduces the liquid waste disposal frequency and costs.

The "ICPMS-2040" and "ICPMS-2050" have achieved a 32% reduction in power consumption compared to the conventional model "ICPMS-2030" by shortening analysis time. Additionally, they maintain high sensitivity while reducing the consumption of argon gas in standby mode through Eco mode. This product enhances both analytical efficiency and cost performance.

The Autograph AGX-V2 series is a precision universal testing machine that realizes high level of control performance, ease of operation and functional safety. Unlike other machines, voice-activated operation system was the first to be introduced in existing materials testing equipment. This new feature in AGX-V2 enables various actions in response to key phrases spoken by the operator. Furthermore, this new feature improved the energy density (based on the test capacity multiply by the test speed) more than 40% from previous models.

The Autograph X-V Retrofit precision universal testing machine utilizes the existing mechanical body of the testing machine while replacing the measurement control system and drive motor, thereby enhancing safety and transforming it into a testing machine equipped with the latest features and performance. The TRAPEZIUM X-V, compatible with the latest operating system, is also available, improving reliability and usability. With the X-V Retrofit, the most environmentally impactful component, the mechanical body, is reused, allowing for a 60% reduction in CO2 emissions over the product lifecycle compared to introducing a new model (for the 20 kN to 300 kN models).

The scanning probe microscope (SPM) is a device that obtains localized three-dimensional surface shapes and physical property information of samples by scanning with a tiny probe. By adopting a high-sensitivity, low-noise detection optical system, it achieves high-resolution observation while automating the previously manual tasks of optical adjustment and setting observation conditions, which required familiarity. As a result, the time from preparation to data acquisition has been reduced to one-sixth of the conventional duration. This product features a significantly miniaturized control unit, achieving a 73% reduction in energy consumption, a 73% reduction in weight, an 85% reduction in volume, and a 63% reduction in footprint compared to our previous models.
